Sizes: Directions for small size (6-8).  Changes for medium size (10-12) are in parentheses. Both sizes are made the same.  Gauge determines size.
Fits Body Bust Size: 30 1/2"-31 1/2" (32 1/2 - 34")
Blocked Bust Size: 35" (38")

Materials: Reynolds Parfait, 13 (15) 30-gram balls.  Steel crochet hook Size 1 (00). 

Gauge: 13 sts = 2"; 3 rows = 1" (No. 1 Hook). Note: Each square on chart represents 1 space (sp); each X represents 1 block (bl).

To Make Joint Dc (j-dc): Holding back on hook the last lp of each dc, work 2 dc in ch-1 sp, yo hook and through 3 lps on hook.
To Make Blocks: Dc in dc, j-dc in ch-1 sp, dc in next dc.
To Make Spaces: Dc in dc, ch 1 sk 1 st, dc in next st (1 sp); ch 1, sk 1 st, dc in next st for each additional sp.
To Dec 1 Sp: At beg of row, ch 2, sk first dc, dc in next dc (counts as 1 dc), work in pat across; at end of row, work to last dc, ch 1, sk last dc, dc in 3rd ch of turning ch.
To Dec 1 Bl: At beg of row, ch 3, sk dc, j-dc; dc in next dc, work in pat across; at end of row, work to last bl, sk j-dc, dc; dc in top of turning ch.

BACK: Beg at lower edge, ch 144.

ROW 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 143 sc.  Turn.
ROW 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), *j-dc in next sc, dc in next sc, (ch 1, sk next sc, dc in next sc) 13 times, repeat from * across, end j-dc in next sc, dc in last sc.  Turn each row.
ROW 3: Ch 4, sk first dc and j-dc, dc in next dc, j-dc in next ch-1 sp, dc in next dc, * (ch 1, dc in next dc) 11 times, j-dc in ch-1 sp, dc in next dc, ch 1, dc in next dc, j-dc in ch-1 sp, dc in next dc, repeat from * across, end last repeat ch 1, dc in 3rd ch of turning ch.
ROWS 4-18: Following chart, work in pat.  Dec 1 sp each side (see To Dec 1 Sp) of next row, then every 5th row 6 times more - 115 sts.  Work 2 rows even, end row 51.
Shape Raglan Armholes: Dec 1 block each side of next row, then every row to top of chart.  End off.

FRONT: Work same as for back to end of row 51.
Shape Raglan Armholes and Divide for Neck Opening: Next Row: Dec 1 bl st beg of row, work in pat to center block, drop yarn, sk j-dc, join another strand of yarn in next dc, ch 3, j-dc in ch-1 sp, dc in next dc, ch 1, work in pat across, dc 1 bl at end of row.  Working on both sides t once, with separate strands of yarn, dec 1 bl each arm side every row to end of row 65.  Continuing to dec 1 bl each arm side every row, dec 1 sp each neck edge every row until 1 sp remains.

SLEEVES: Beg at lower edge, ch 116.

ROW 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 115 sc.  Following chart, work to end of row 22.  Dec 1 sp each side of next row, then every 4th row 6 times.  Work even to end of row 51.
Shape Raglan Cap: Dec 1 bl each side of next row, then every row to top of chart.

FINISHING: Block pieces.  Sew raglan caps to back and front armholes.  Sew side and sleeve seams.  Work 1 rnd dc around lower edge and each sleeve.
Neck Edging: Join yarn in lower edge of front opening.  Work 1 row sc around neck and front opening.  Ch 3, turn.
Next Row: Dc in each sc around, working 3 dc in each upper front corner.  End off.
